This is a very nice house in a fantastic location. The beautiful view is open and
unblockable since construction on the plot in front is prohibited.
The house is located at about 125m NN in the hilly, winegrowing Gascogne countryside
at the department GERS.
The location is idyllic since both the Atlantic Coast and the Pyrenean ski resorts are only
an hour’s drive away, and only about 70 km to the place of pilgrimage of Lourdes.
Built around 1970, the two-story house is made out of Poroton- bricks which ensure a
high level of thermal insulation. The windows are made from Mahogany frames and
single glazing. Shutters are present to provide protection from the influences of weather.
An extensive reconstruction was performed ten years ago. A high-quality oil-fired
heating and a new electrical system were built in. The roof was renewed. A garage with
heating and a two-storeyed parking space were also built. There is a covered 23 sqm
patio and a paved patio.
The Living space is 290 sqm which includes six bedrooms, three bathrooms, library, a
spacious parlor with fireplace , kitchen, utility room and abri.
Kitchen furniture and equipment, and furniture of the library are included in the price.
The 8451 sqm garden includes a pool (4 m x 9 m) , many fruit-bearing trees (plum, fig,
pomegranate, pear, cherry, apple, nashi) and a park vegetated with many rare plants.
From the garden you have a serene view into the landscape, across a valley and further
on to the Pyrenees.
